Our Full Day Visit gives you the chance to learn about elephants’ natural behavior, their history in Thailand, and the Karen hill tribe culture. You’ll also discover why the Karen people are known worldwide as traditional elephant caretakers.
During this program, you will meet our elephants up close, prepare herbal medicine balls, and enjoy a peaceful day surrounded by nature.
08:00–08:30 AM — Pick up from your accommodation and drive about 1 hour 45 minutes to the Elephant Village Sanctuary.
Stop at a local market, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and experience authentic local life.
Change into a traditional Karen Mahout-style costume.
Receive an introduction about our village, the elephants, and the Karen family culture.
Meet, feed, and interact with our elephants in their natural environment.
Learn about the stories of our rescued elephants and their new free lives.
Take a short jungle trek to a scenic waterfall where you can relax and swim.
Enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch with fresh seasonal fruit.
Learn how to make vitamin (herbal) balls for the elephants and feed them.
Say goodbye to the elephants before returning to your hotel.
Arrive back around 5:00 PM.
